Under the Son Day School is an early childhood school that offers classes ranging from 2-5 years of age. We take pride in our classes with certified teachers specializing in early childhood education. Special consideration is given to teacher/student ratio for every age level. Our classes have age appropriate preschool activities which include literature, music, movement, and their own curriculum. Lessons incorporate Bible stories that teach morals and wholesome living.
Our mission is to provide a warm, loving Christian learning environment to every child. We strive to assist these little ones spiritually and academically. Children will be taught respect for each one, fairness, and thankfulness for blessings given by God. A bible story will be taught daily which helps provide biblical study and knowledge. Academically, children are given instruction in sharing, listening, alphabet recognition, color recognition, counting (1-20) and number identification.
Each class includes developmentally appropriate activities—such as recess, games, handwork, arts and crafts, and singing—that reinforce lessons, encourage self-expression, and foster cooperation
Younger children explore shapes, colors, and age-appropriate activities, while Pre-K students prepare for Kindergarten through counting, letter recognition, and motor skill development. At the heart of it all is Christian care—our curriculum centers on Bible stories, moral values, and the love of Jesus Christ.
